Rather than just rush in and write something myself, I thought I’d get suggestions off people.
As I mentioned in the Site Suggestions thread, I plan to have a short Flash intro to the main CDO portal (the one you go to before coming into the forum).
What I have in mind is say 6 pages providing an introduction to the Chaos Dwarfs. It would not be written as ‘we are the admin, come and join us here’, but as a very short story detailing their dark beginnings or something.
Depending on how good it comes out we would have this story split over the 6 pages, with a piece of art above each and the same detailed border for each.
I thought it could show a bit of their origins,
1. Dwarfs migrating in huge numbers
2. Magic storm over mountains
3. Dwarfs stuck underground in a ruined hall
4. Landscape of Zharr Naggrund
5. Slaves mining something
6. Burning skull in hot coals
Notice you wouldn’t see a chaos dwarf, as people have their own ideas on this.
So basically what I am looking for is a story about 400-500 words to really inspire visitors to come and join us. So feel free to put them here and we can discuss and pick a good one.
