These are my Bull Centaurs, my very first attempt at converting, well anything. Unless bending the leg of my wraith lord counts… Anywho, I used Boar bodies form the Orc boar boyz set, left the head off, and sanded all the fur off (used a knife to scrape off the mid torso, and a pencil with sandpaper (technical term lol) on the rest of body. Only took a couple minutes each. I glued some left over Dwarf warriors together, cut away the skirts and glued them where the boar head would go. Filled in the gaps with bondo, sanded it down and made it all smooth and even, so it looked like a natural body. In my first attempt at green stuff, made them some armor, gave the champion a skull helmet (a hollowed orc head) gave em beards, and bob’s your uncle- five BCs. The fat looking one was my fist guy- learned a lot from him. Still deciding whether or not I should sand his armor off and to make him look better. Looking forward to what you think!
I like them. As I’m thinking of buying the real things, I find myself inspired to just make my own! They look a little… chunky, but so did the old ones. Great use of the orcs and boars, really creative. Love the orc mask too.
One thing, how tall are they compared to the old BC’s?
Thanks guys, the boars are standard plastic fare. A little fat yes, especially the first one, im remaking him though) but, Dwarves are stocky anyways, so it makes them look more like dwarves. In terms of model size, they are only about 2.5 cm tall, and I’ve never seen the old BCs except in pictures, so I could’nt tell you how they compare.
