I wanted to start this earlier but no time like the present.
Eversence I saw the chaos warriors on Warhmmer Online: Age of Reckonning I wanted to do a force based of them mainly becouse they are tzeentchein followers. So I thought sence the new warriors of chaos are comming out soon I thought it would be a good idea to start up an army. Here is my first finished miniature.
Next up is either chaos warriors or spawn.

the gold seems a little thick, as it’s obscuring the runes, also, perhaps a wash of something to make those runes a funky colour (like blue or purple)

Thats’ the best combo of blues Dino!!!Maybe throw some ink or wash on the gold !!

That’s actually my absolute favourite model in the whole range of models available from GW and all other companies. The head is just so creepy looking!
I like the painting, but I agree that the gold needs a wash.

@Kyte: This model is one of my favorites as well. But as I told minty it’s been washed but my lighting takes way from it.

Dino, you utilize blues and purples in the most amazing ways. your minis look incredible… and I like the gold to be honest…I love how it absolutely pops against the blue. I wouldn’t want to muddy it with a wash, I think it might dull the whole model by removing some of the contrast
and those Chaos warriors… very nice. are you leaving the shields like that? I’d love to see something differentiating on it because it’s such a big, flat canvas…

Thx for the feed back Sojourn. I’m actually thinking about painting chaos runes on the sheilds or ravens. Haven’t decided yet.

Here’s an update on the warriors.
Been working on these guys a lot over the past three days. I have very little left on the warriors but a fair bit on the bases still to do.

Another update for this thread. More work has been completed on the warriors and here’s how they stand now.
