I’m taking the LoA to the UBOaT (rules here: http://www.universalbattle.com/forum/t/165). The comp pack is a bit stupid (aren’t they all?), but this is what I’ve come up with:

Sorcerer Prophet on Great Taurus with: pistol; Charmed Shield; Earthing Rod; Talisman of Preservation; Lore of Hashut and level 4 upgrade. (525 points and 48 composition points)

Infernal Castellan with: Battle Standard Upgrade; Shield; Trickster`s Helm; and Dawnstone. (207 points and 28 composition points)
Daemonsmith Sorcerer with: level 2 upgrade: and Lore of Metal (130 points and 7 composition points.

12 Infernal Guard with: shields; standard; and musician. (164 points and 3 composition points)
12 Infernal Guard with: shields; standard; and musician. (164 points and 3 composition points)
12 Infernal Guard with: shields; standard; and musician. (164 points and 3 composition points)
12 Infernal Guard with: shields; standard; and musician. (164 points and 3 composition points)

Iron Daemon War Engine with: Hellbound upgrade. (310 points and 16 composition points)
14 Infernal Ironsworn with: shields; standard; and musician. (253 points and 7 composition points)
Deathshrieker Rocket. (100 points and 18 composition points)
Deathshrieker Rocket. (100 points and 18 composition points)

Dreadquake Mortar with: Slave Ogre Crewman. (215 points and 24 composition points).

Misc. Composition points: 3rd war machine = 5; 4th war machine 10; and Earthing Rod on Hashut = 5.

2496 points and comes out to 10.2 on the composition points.

that doesn’t look like a great army, but i understand your need to get comp points.

only thing i can see is give your BSB a double handed weapon if your giving him tricksters helm and dawn stone (i also use this combo often).

I’d be happier with bigger blocks of infernal guard - can you put two lots of 12 together without affecting your comp too much?

The dreadquake seems to suffer under the comp, despite it not being brilliant - how many comp points is a hellcannon? If it’s about the same, I’d swap them round.

Putting units together is bad for the comp. The Hellcannon is 30 points compared to the Dreadquake's 24. I'm already at 10.2, which means that I have 2 comp points to spare, with 10 being the minimum allowed for this tournament.

Chaos Dwarfs get screwed in this comp setup. All our War Machines are comped harder than the equivalent Dwarf or Empire machines; Castellans are comped super hard; Sorc Prophets super hard; the Destroyer is pretty much unusable.
