[Archive] 4 book theory and narrative?

KingFisher:

Granted, but essentially super-condensing all the known deities into their fundamental aspects in the reflections-of-the-Four theory seems like it limits options rather than enhances them. Though I do confess, as I write this, a consistent background narrative concerning the dissolution and corruption of all the other known religions would be an intriguing side note to the destruction of the Old World.

Do we actually have any indications Forgeworld is tackling anything so fundamental as playing out a fictional metaphysical theory?

Also, vote for the tower. I do adore siege towers, and as such, a steam or Daemon tower war engine would be dearly loved.

You realize if it is anything like standard tower, You would be able to also take a fozziniks tower on a cheap lord, and then park "steadfast" Ld10 w/hero blunderbuss dwarfs in both towers, there is not limit how large your unti which garrisons a building is. With a 6 inch wide tower that makes for 2 18 inch blunder buss circles. you could pretty much cover your entire side of the table in template.

Shooting attacks have 360 LOS

Any ideas how you would determine the size of the template? The width of the tower? What if I choose to fire diagonally so the template has a 12 inch template from the closest point right? The template would be the with of the tower as measures perpendicular from the angle of fire right? With the 5 per floor rule you would need 3 floors to make 3 shooting ranks and hence S5 attacks?
