New Events for 2010! Battlefront?Ts Flames of War, Privateer Press, and More?

That?Ts right! For years we have heard your requests, and with a year under our belt at our new venue, AdeptiCon is answering the call! AdeptiCon 2010 will see additional space for even more events!

Stemming from our past partnership with Gale Force 9 (http://www.gf9.com), and drawing on the experience of AdeptiCon veterans Joe Krone and Dave Taylor, we are partnering with Battlefront to provide a full slate of Flames of War events over the weekend. Additionally, Dean Rapp and his GameKorps (http://www.gamekorps.net) group will be bringing their immense experience to AdeptiCon, helping run a series of high caliber Flames of War events.

AdeptiCon is also very excited to have Andrew Hartland (Privateer Press Ganger Extraordinaire) on board this year to help organize and run a full slate of Privateer Press events. Some of you may be familiar with Andrew?Ts work at Templecon (http://www.templecon.org/10/). Whether you play Warmachine, Hordes, Grind, or Monsterapocalypse?AdeptiCon will have a Privateer Press event on the 2010 schedule for you.

Xander:

Tell us more about the Warhammer and Blood Bowl stuff.

What sort of support for Chaos Dwarfs do you have in the fantasy tournaments?

Xander
Sorry for the delayed response here Xander, I've been lost in Azeroth a bit.

3 days of fantasy and the Ravening Hordes list is allowed in all of the Fantasy Tournaments.

The Dwarfs of Chaos:Indy GT book is allowed in all of the warhammer tournaments except for the Friday "Size Matters" 2999 tournament. This tournament is my baby and I just felt that no army should have two army books to choose from. I chose the old standby rather than the Indy GT version.

I thought Adepticon this year was going to be a max of 25 and the only comp was the WPS itself not extra comp penalties based on where you fall between 1-25. I could be wrong but my current list I am planning on running comes in at a 6 which is already low but even lower if lists below 10 are hit harder.
I think the sea guard and swordmasters will play their part well. Hopefully that Archmage can get some good spells off! I am running the Archmage but in tandem with a DM.

From the Adepticon Saturday Championships PDF
Composition and Theme: 25 Points Total/Maximum. Comp is being scored using the current WPS PDF, found here. Your WPS score will be divided by 200 to get your comp score. Your score will be capped at 25. Lists with a Negative WPS score will not be allowed. As WPS does not support Special Characters, WPS modifications for a specific list containing a Special Character must be pre-approved before February 1st, 2010.
