Ok, I’m comparing the Black Orcs from the old book to the new one as well as the Gobin Chioces. I won’t list “Stats”, but will post some descriptions and ideas I have about the army.
First off, the “Nasty Skulkers”, which are the modern equivelent of Sneaky Gits are listed in the “Goblin” army listing along with the regular Goblins from before. However, you can only take 3 of them per unit.
Points cost and unit size is the same. Each of the command crew is now even in points. Their weapons cost less for each weapon (Spear, Shield and Short Bows)
Orc Boys are now less P per model, Command Crew is more for Orc Boss and even for others, Weapons are now less points each, and it’s less points to upgrade to Big 'Un’s.
Orc Arrer Boys now cost more P per model and Command Crew is even P each.
Black Orcs are now less points per model, Unit size is now 10+, more P for big boss and even p each remaining command crew - Shields and Magic Standard @ same cost.
Equipment is now Heavy Armor and a “Huge Array Of Weapons”.
Special Rules are : Armed To Da Teef, Choppas, Immune To Psychology. (Quell Animosity is gone or re-worded)
The Stats are the same as before (Which I won’t print here.)
I’m not too sure how this will affect our Chaos Dwarf Greenskin choices, but thought I would post the update anyway.
As far as points cost, we should now be able to field these “Additional” units at lesser cost AND we now get the 3 “New School” Sneaky Gits in there as well…not that our current unit of 10+ Gits aren’t better off anyway.
