Ooooh…

snowblizz:

Holy ****! It’s only £7. And they have a bunch of other stuff similarly priced… and here I had been looking for really cheap hills and such. Hot dang!

Tyranoth The Ashen:

Reminds me of The Word of Hashut issue 12 cover.

Timothy Archer:

Great and amazing upside down too for a slave pit

Fuggit Khan:

That’s a beautiful find tjub, thank you for sharing :hat off

Dînadan:

Nice find - it’s a promising starting point

Helblindi:

Indeed, nice find. The whole company looks interesting, everything is cheap and pretty!

Abecedar:

Would agree with that, but as a slave pit you'd have to build a superstructure for it

Or cut a hole into your table to slot it into.

Thommy H:

My wife says I’m not allowed to cut any more holes in the table. Apparently it’s “inconvenient when we host dinner parties”.

Kamphre:

My wife says I'm not allowed to cut holes in my hands and fingers anymore. Its "embarrassing" her with all the bandaids on them.

Just a word of warning, to temper your expectations...

I've got some of their stuff, and it's cool, and was very cheap, but this is not hard plastic like GW models, it's flimsy plastic with virtually no detail.

For the price, that's completely fine - like I say, I've got some of their stuff, and it's likely I'll pick up more in the future - but don't imagine that for £7 you'll get something you can just plonk on the table and that's it, is all I'm saying. It will take some work to strengthen it (especially if you expect to balance metal models on it), it will take some detailing to really look good... it's just a starting point, really.

But it's a very cheap starting point, which is a good thing.

cornixt:

Sounds like vacuform stuff.

Bitterman:

Yep, that’s exactly what it is.

Hill_Billy_Bub:

Still looks nice

Oh I know that. I've seen similar stuff before. I just want something cheap to have a terrain set at home. I don't play that often. Been making some buildings, have a GW wood I bought when they came out. I just don't have the materials to make polystyrene hills and such. That looks just like what I needed.

Dînadan:

Don’t know if it’ll work, but you might be able to use it as a mould and make plaster casts so you have more of them and they’d be more durable.

Cool, fair enough, hope I didn't sound patronising, just wanted to help avoid an unfortunate misconception.
