Tokheim:

Tried something different this weekend,

I’ve done Gorka Morka Mutie Horses before with Marauder torsos and arms, with skull heads.  I’ve done the old armored GW horses (Empire/Chaos style) with beast men torsos and arms and their heads.  

For CD’s though, I wanted something more dynamic and chaotic.  



I think this guy fits well, used the newer Chaos Knight horse plus the Ogre torso from Mantic’s KOW line.  The arms are from the ogre too, very strong looking.  I left the head bare for now, I don’t know if I want to go the old school chaotic head from 3rd edition, the newer big hat CD style from 4th/5th edition. or something along independent or Forge World lines.  

So no head so far, depending on my and your thoughts.  

What do you think I should use to finish him off?

The torso and horse body look pretty good scale wise.

Have you considered giving them the plastic Dragon Ogre heads?

Thought about Minotaur heads too.

Then looked at the old THRUD models, with the pin heads on the giant stud muffin.

Tried a couple old plastic Chaos Warrior heads, they seem to fit pretty well. The old 3rd edition style army that I’m building that is! No big hats, no FW, old style OOP Chaos Dwarfs! I’ll take another couple of pics and see what you think.

Minotaur or some of the ogre heads (with helmets) are awesome, so far it looks well balanced and the scale is good !
