AoW have release another spectacular chaos warrior miniature. This time it’s a marauder champion - it comes with a head and weapon variant.

It’s a fantastic miniature, but i don’t like his pose. It’s to orkish. IMO his head could be a bit higher and he shouldn’t lean forward, but apart from that it’s cool.

If I were to do WoC again, I’d get the version with the helm and use it as an exalted or lord.
Very nice sculpt.
Though honestly if I did do WoC again, it’d be Nurgle marauder horde… to the bare head version would be more consistent with the theme.

That really is a good figure. I actually don’t mind the pose. He is supposed to be a champion and he does have a kind of “follow me, lads” kind of posture.

I’m not as excited about this one in the same way I was for the Dwarf Lord of Chaos fig (which I now have and he’s got a big hat!), or the Daemonslayer or any of the Greenskin models. The oldest has seen them, and wants them for his horde - can’t fault his taste.

OMG what an incredibly cool model! This one would fit nicely into my WoC army, but then again I wouldn’t want him to steal all attention away from Wulfrik…

I think the pose makes him look a bit like a grizzled veteran really. Maybe a litte war weary, slightly relaxed considering he’ll be in battle and the stoop (as well as the beard) imply some degree of age.
I’m just not sure which weapon set I’d want to get him with, lol

This is true, but for some reason I really like the sword. You could put pins in the hands or wrists, but not glue them, so they’ll be interchangeable. That or magnets. Although the parts are probably too small for magnets.
I’m not too keen on the Wulfrik model, but with the sword and shield I think this would be a good alternative.
