[Archive] Armies of Arcana - Any Good?

I’m interested in trying out some different systems to good ol’ warhammer (sort of back to my roots, Warhammer wasn’t the first game I tried as a kid). Armies of Arcana looks like it might fit the bill, and I just wondered if anyone had tried it and if so what you thought of it?

AoA is rather good, haven’t played a game myself but watched a few and heard nothing but praise. Or if skirmish games are your thing then keep a eye out for Warbands of Illustria which will be out in a couple of months or so.
