Well due to a few problems I had recently I have decided to part with one of my two cannons.
My army is now complete and is undergoing painting and decided that one normal cannon + one unreleased one will be just fine.
The model is a lead version (this is the first cast so details should be sharper). Model is in mint condition never seen primer or paint. It has just been mostly cleaned for painting preparation. All 3 crew members and the balls are present.
I will post some pics as soon as I get a minute to take them (this means finding my memory card for the camera :)…)
I will consider any serious offers for it. And I know his value.
I will hold it up for 10 days from now. Highest offer on the 3rd of August will get it.

The so called Unreleased Ass cannon was first released, then when they realized the face resembled the face of the sculptor boss it was pulled from the market :) it was available for a very short period of time. This version was the first run and it was lead based.
Later GW had a few more cast from the mold using the current in use metal (white metal) these where done for some special people that requested it. One of them was the owner of a company producing resin items under GW agreement. That is where I got my white metal copy.
As well known when GW shifted to white metal they had some issues and casts where not so sharp and crisp.
Same reason why you can get the Marauder CD both in lead and white metal. They where available from UK direct mail order up to some years back. I have both and both are original. The lead ones I got are still in blister and the white metal ones where sent to me directly from Mail Order UK. And I can clearly see a difference in the quality of the cast.
Had it not been for a leaky radiator in my car - and a bill of £1200, I would seriously have considered making you an offer.
Good luck - I really hope, that it finds a good home.

:) I understand your feelings :) I have the same issue that is why I am selling it... :(:~:(:~
But you never know, I only got an offer for now, also I may decide not to sell it and will be available in the future.
Makes sense I was hoping to get 2 or 3 offers to evaluate. Since with evilbay is hard to guess an average.
I realy don’t want to give them 10% of the sell, I will prefer to give that discount to someone who realy wants that model.
I had 5 of them in my hands in about 15 years. Two where incomplete (missing servants or the balls and 3 fully complete one white metal and two lead. 2 complete where trades with fellow collectors and 3 where bought on eBay.
I remember paying 150$ for my first complete one about 10 years ago and I thought it was a fortune, 5 years later I traded 2 of the 2nd ed. Squats worth about 300/400$ for my white metal one, I paid a bit more for it’s going value cause the source was very reliable.
