cornixt:
If they are GW, then they are water based, so add water.
Hashut’s Blessing:
Add a drop of water at a time, mix it well, maybe a good, hard shake (particularly on the downward motion) and it should be good as new. A flow improver, I’d imagine would work, but water does the job
wallacer:
I think Tamiya makes a flow improver (or paint thinner or whatever they call it) for their water based paints. If basic water doesn’t work you could try that, although it may be cheaper to just buy a new pottle of paint.
Joshmohr:
I gotta be honest, i wouldnt use it. Even if you did fix it, it would turn out ultra thick… And could ruin your models… So i wouldn’t risk it.
Kera foehunter:
well thanks so i give it a try !!
Loki:
best way i have found to deal with this is not to add water in to the paint pot because if you add to much you can take it out and you end up with always having watery paint which wont work, the best bet to do is to take some out and place in on a tile ,white bathroom tiles or a plastic lid of some description are best and add a little water to it to thin it down and then your ready to go
Kera foehunter:
i go a head and try that Loki
thank you ’

I have had to add water to some of my paints. If you addd it to the pot you have to shake it evry time you use it. also after you have added water to it once you have to keep adding water evey now and then.
Kera foehunter:
yea i have added water and some times if it get dry chunks that will not full turn back to paint
BilboBaggins:
I use a syringe I used to use for refilling ink cartridges and slowly add water and stir. The syringe allows for control in the amount of water added. I’ve even got some of the hardest blocks of dried paint usable.
I’ve used the Tamiya thinner when I was preparing acrylic paints for my airbrush. I guess it could be used with Citadel Paints but I haven’t tried it.

thanks bilbo !!!
