Probably my mind going blank here, but we did only ever have the regular combat BC Lord right?
Seems like a cool concept to me.

Nicodemus:
Probably my mind going blank here, but we did only ever have the regular combat BC Lord right?Yes, you're correct. I'd have to go through the background material again. I can't recall if the official GW background had a clearer delineation between sorcerers and those that became Bull Centaurs or not. In my mind they didn't overlap but I can't remember if there's anything that would preclude this!
Seems like a cool concept to me.

Abecedar:
Same here, I’ve only ever seen combat BC Lords. But why not have a sorcerer one in our multi-verse
cornixt:
There was a line in the army book that said there were no sorcerers in the BC.
Hashut’s Blessing:
It was always said that Bull Centaurs were the guardians of the sorcerers and none were sorcerers themselves. That being said, as an idea for a Chaos Dwarf special character, a one-off that defies expectations, I’m not against the idea. Any more than literally one (or maybe a set of twins or something) starts to feel like ignoring the base fluff, but to each their own and if you have a cool story or explanation for it, go ahead!
tjub:
I agree, it would be a cool ideas for a “Special Character”. With magical powers either from an artifact or mutation.

Admiral:
Aye, HB is spot on here. Unique character, yes, but otherwise no. Theirs is not a sorcerous role. A character with artefacts or mutations would be a good way to explore the finer details of the background, by the way.
T9A will by the way sport a Taur’rukh/Bull Centaur sorcerer hero choice in their next Infernal Dwarf army list. Not a special character. One of many details in which they will diverge from Warhammer Chaos Dwarfs, for better or worse.
Hashut’s Blessing:
Since so many like the concept (and since some will want to make it for The 9th Age, by the sounds of things), I can’t wait to see what people do. Maybe an idea we’ll see in a Golden Hat (whether as a competition unto itself or just within one of them as someone taking the opportunity to do something cool).
Zanko:
Neat concept, I have already implemented in 2008, I can offer this Boar centaur magician!

Dînadan:
Idea - instead of him being an exception to the no sorcerer rule, such a special character could be a set of conjoined twins; one a sorcerer and the other a bull centaur. Although that might be too much like the WoC character Vilitch the Curseling.
Skink:
Dang. Your collection is truly bottomless. I have always been amazed by the wacky conversions and/or cool ideas that you consistetly pull off. Nevermind the actual rarity of those things.
