GRNDL:

Yeah, these techniques are very helpful. I picked up the first edition of this book when they released it back in '83, but most of the techniques were more useful with polyhedral dice - especially the overhand moves. Also, we called the vindaloo something else and accompanied it with meditative mantras.

nitroglysarine:

April fool?

Does that mean they'll pay my ISP for the transfer of the data? Canadian internet is pretty costly...

Tarrakk Blackhand:

I’m ordering 10 of these from my rep as we speak!

No April's Fool-post at all. I tried the vindaloo-technique myself this afternoon and now have to spend the next 6 weeks in a bodycast because I didn't relase the immence build-up of perfectly aligned sixes in time, thus leading to a fractured pelvis, a dislocated shoulder, wheezing kidneys, twirling kneecaps and chest hair.

cornixt:

I hope there is also a section on dice cursing, either how to do it to your opponent or how to avoid doing it to yourself (“Anything but a one…”). Being able to stare your opponent into rolling badly is a very useful tournament skill.

nitroglysarine:

I used to have some issues with dice release.

But then I had some therapy to help me with my abandonment issues.

I have now been known now to put dents in the table with my dice.

Da Crusha:

haha! thats funny, well if they did release it I know for sure there would be a new Snake eyes award at tournaments.

Tarrakk Blackhand:

Where does one aquire the all 6’s dice?

richard barby:
