By standard prices I mean prices that are about average.
For example, if you see somebody selling a big hat warrior for 5 EUR, what would you say? it is cheap, reasonable, or expensive? If it is reasonable I call it a standard price.

The problem with chaos dwarf pricing on eBay is that out of 1103 listings (filtered down to Warhammer - fantast) 1036 are Buy It Now’s. Thats 71 auctions, around half of which have their starting bid set ridiculously high and about a dozen arent even chaos dwarf auctions. As soon as chaos dwarfs started getting a bit more popular a few sellers started buying up everything and listing it at double or triple the price they bought it for and now most people think those are the standard prices. Unfortunately this means that the auctions go for a lot more now than they used to as well and there are very few chances for a good deal. You need to be checking constantly to find a deal.
If you are looking to buy a single big hat warrior then £5 is too much, unless its a particular version you want. £4 would be better but that will probably include the same postage that you would pay for half a dozen warriors. It all depends what you are willing to pay but dont just give the rip off sellers what they are looking for. They dont want to give you a good deal. Look around and you will find something better eventually. Heres the recent completed listings:

You can see that some blunderbuss went for £3.99 each and an axeman for £4.03. The cheapest way is to buy a few models at a time but the problem with those blunderbuss is that the seller made them free postage so you cant ask him to combine postage so if you bought them all you would probably end up spending more. I guess i would say a standard price is £2.50 plus a little postage.

Pricing is problematic. Since february last year I’ve spent about 17.000 SEK or roughly $2000, on big hats. I can play almost any list I want at 2,5k with the last wolf raiders I got from abecedar :cheers
With my daemons army new models directly from GW + commission painting to tier 5-6 I end up roughly at the same price per model.
