I am having a heck of a time coming up with a color scheme for these gentlemen:
Right now I am leaning towards a brown/orange/white setup (I’ve been a cleveland fan for years…) but I’ve already done that on a team before and I’m not sure I want to do the same thing again.
What do you think would look good as a color scheme for this team? Do tell!

Welp, I’m a fan of purple Chaos Dwarves myself. I was going to suggest that you check out some FIFA team jerseys, like Iraq’s for example (ie Mesopotamia ie Chaos Dwarfs), but after my google search it turns out that soccer uniforms aren’t very interesting. Iraq’s is white on a field of green though, if you wondered.

nothing wrong with doing more than one thin in your teams colors… I do Orange and Blue (Broncos fan here) all the time.

I think red and black work well as a team colour for CD also a bucs fan so that might have some bearing on it

Red and Black works well. I know this because it is the colour of my local rugby team. It also has the advantage of being fairly straightforward to paint.

The Pewter is only really for the legs and as its dwrfs we are talking about painting its not going to be a huge area so i would not bother the pewter and just go with the red and black and the nice metal of the armour

ya that could work very well good call two_heads_talking , would be good to see a concept model done in this colour so see what it would look like, the hobgoblins would work great for this as well

Sports teams look good with two main colours and an accent colour, at least one of which should be black or white (or at least neutral in some way)

Bengals?! No division rivals, that’s bad news. And considering the hype they’re getting this season, possibly extra bad news.
I am currently leaning towards just going with the Browns color scheme again. Still torn though, haven’t started yet…

If it a girls team orange and black like the BengalsThe Broncos have had 1 winning season in 3 years.. and over that same time frame we've gone an astounding 24-24.. But, like a true blue and orange fan, I bleed orange and blue and winning season or not, I'll be there rooting for them.

So I broke down and decided to stick with the Cleveland color scheme, if only because I felt it was the only combination I could come up with that would contrast properly with all the bizarre skin tones on the team (light flesh on the dwarves, dark grayish blue on the bull centaur lower bodies, green on the hobbos, and brown leading up to white on the albino minotaur)
Here are some photos I took of them thus far. I will be changing the colors on the bull centaur hat a bit, but I’m pretty happy with this group overall.

Minotaur with some color on him. The pictures don’t carry it well, but I think he came out pretty well and he looks correct with the rest of the team so far. Tomorrow I need to get crankin on some more dwarfs, and hopefully the other bull centaur too - I want the beatdown fully painted by the time my vacation is over, so I can do the hobgoblins one per day until we start our Summer-Autumn Blood Bowl league.
