Tarliyn:
Does buying and converting blood bowl minatures work at all or are they a different size.I have never seen a blood bowl figure so was wondering if anyone here knew the answer. Thanks guys.
EDIT: also anyone know if Mordheim Carnival of Chaos Warband would work as a basis for converting hobgoblins?

All WFB based game’s minis (with the obvious exception of Warmaster) are the same scale as standard WFB minis. Your only worry is in changes in scale between editions. If your army is made up of classic big hats then the blood bowl minis work perfectly. As for the carnival of chaos idea, I just don’t thinkthe look or feel is right, but the strongmen would make good big slaves. Just a thought.

hmmm… u forget 'bout inquistor, battlefleet gothic, wh40k epic and man o’war
they are different scale than 28 mm (and battle of 5 armies too…its like warmaster… )
torn:
id love to see a battlefleet gothic scale hobgoblin . . .
Hashut’s Blessing:
People seem to use BB miniatures mostly to be converted into crewmen or champions etc because a whole regiment makes them very one-posed.

thanks guys now I know some more of the resources I have at my disposal, I have two boxes of bfsp coming into my gaming store soon and was curious what else I should get
thanks

“battlefleet gothic scale hobgoblin”, here’s one -> .
The BB models are a little individual so it is more obvious which ones are the same if you have a whole regiment of them, whereas the old metal big hat warriors and the plastics were very similar to each other. Try here to see some GW conversion fo them http://it.games-workshop.com/pc/warhammer/chaosdwarf/chaosdwarf.htm

I was talking purely about WFB based games, not 40K or LotR based ones. I take your point about Man o'war but its been out of prouction for a long time now. Mind you so have CDs
