Will be putting on ebay soon but thought I would try it here first.

What do you want for that beauty?

£400 plus postage

The last one to sell went for £300 but wasn't complete, the one before that £450 in the same condition as mine.

If I stick it o ebay, I may get £450 but I hate auctions and prefer to just sell now I have made the decision.

TheHoodedMan:

I looked for one a year or so ago and it is really a rare model.

I don`t want to discuss the price because that is a highly individual matter but for me personally this price range is absolutely out of space.

Is that so :)? For me the price of a playable army is not in relation to a single model or diorama, but as said that`s my personal view.

Here`s a link to a pic, it`s a real cool one:

Nice model never seen it before. Nice looking.

thewizardofoz:

@ Thehoodedman - I agree with you totally. You could buy an entire army for that money and I am the first to say it is madness. However, once on ebay it will sell for that money - it is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. This model is incredibly rare, especially in this condition. I don’t want to sell it but by selling this I can do something amazing for my little girl and my much deserving wife - I have to be sensible. If I was to say, go on then £200 - somebody would buy it and then stick it on ebay and get £400+ - I cant do that to my family. If I was selling it to get stuff for me, I would simply trade it - once I got the models I wanted, I wouldn’t care how much somebody got for it. Im really not some dealer trying to make a fast buck here, just a new dad doing the best he can for his family.

@Gil - if you click on the facebook link on my first post aboe, it will take you to my pics of him.

TheHoodedMan:

Sure. No problem, I hope you get a good price for it.

TheHoodedMan:

You kept this in perfect condition. Great to see one on the market, maybe the last one.

Doombeard:

Hey, I saw your listing, you have listed it really badly and it will probably sell for much less than it would do if you listed it correctly. I’ve put a bid on it to try and stave off any unwanted chancers. What you should do is cancel it immediately and list it correctly. WHen doing their search for rare stuff most people enter a search phrase such as ‘Warhammer Limited Edition’ or ‘Warhammer Ltd Ed’ or ‘Staff only Warhammer’ or whatever. What youve done there is list your item so badly someone could come along and buy it for 300 bu getting lucky and happening accross it, then re-list it the next day for 600 with the correct name and it would sell instantly. I thought about it myself for a second, but I dont have the time to or wish to to be honest. You need to get your shit together, will be your own fault if someone does!

TheHoodedMan:

@Doombeard:

If you made a bid you obviously mean to buy it :yar, otherwise you shouldn`t do that.

Personally I think if someone looks for Braugh he will search with “Braugh”. I tried this and my international search had no results, perhapts that is interesting.

@wizard: Maybe you want to try this if your item shows like you want it.

Doombeard:

nah i can cancel my bid at any time, when I entered it I was 50/50 but my conscience got the better of me , plus the 10k points worth of unpainted mini’s I currently have to paint

by that reasoning you are restricting your sales to the only people in the market that search for braugh once a week, which is probably about 10-100 people in any given week in the world. If you market it to the people who trawl ebay lookign for stuff they can buy at a nominal price and sell on at profit ie the dealers and also the collectors who value limited edition stuff , or infact anyone who just wants something Warhammer or Ogre kingdoms then you will open your market up to more like 100,000 people. Ogre Kingdoms players wont even find this listing as the tend to search Ogre Kingdoms or Ogre + Warhammer

Your entitled to your opinion Hood but in this case you are wrong and you’re talking to someone who has traded mini’s on ebay for over 10 years now, including owning my own CD shop

Doombeard:

he would make a badass unit filler though

TheHoodedMan:

I linked your ebay auction on “oldhammer”, hope that was ok.
