First, I really don’t think that bigger pictures helps. Main issues has been due to bad lightning and out of focus picturing.
Second, photobucket (and other free hosting services) don’t really allow you to store that big pictures unless you upgrade your account.
Three, high res. images is hard to see on small devices (11" Notebooks, Ipads etc.) and think 800x600 is a good internet standard.
Four, also keep in mind that hot all access CDO through a 10/10mb broarband connection. For some it will make page load much slower.
So rather than increase the size of badly photographed miniatures - I would suggest that people looked more into miniature photographing and picture editing
