Hello guys i’ve recently painted my castellan bsb, seeking advice on what color to use with the horns of the banner!

the beard and the shield are perfect. What to do with the horns on the banner you say? Nothing - it looks cool going from black to red.

If your force is gonna look like this all the way through it’s gonna be intimidating.

thanks man! Actually my force is growing, done 36 infernal guards and 32 hobbos like this, thinking to start an army blog :wink: Actually I dont know what to do with the horns… is the only drybrushed color of all the army for now, hope it fits!

Must be a bugger for upkeep though - just imagine having to be the slave that has to repaint it and repair the chips after each battle. ;P

Impressive painting, that is simply great. You could highlight the edges of the horns up to orange-yellow to mimic the lava, or you could keep them like they are. Great job, in any case!

thanks for all the great feedback guys! I got inspiration for colour scheme feom some old pics i’ve found on google… I have like 3500 points of old big hats to paint so I will shortly start the blog.
For now a sneaky shot of an upcoming big bad evil guy. :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Like everyone else, I think this is great, especially the shield. Leave the horns as they are and start a blog.

I really like that destroyer mini. When you start your blog I would like to see the standard from behind would be interesting how this looks like. Great idea with the hellcannon skull.
