I was hoping to possibly pick those figs up from koyote. Shoot. I think given Pyro’s price recommendation, assuming it’s accurate - and from experience Pyro’s info is well researched and backed-up with real evidence-based data - I think the price I was offering per fig was pretty good.
Koyote, I sincerely hope you’re still around. Even if you’d prefer listing the figs on eBay, I won’t take it personally at all. But more importantly, we’d all hate to lose even one CD fan under any circumstances, especially seeing as you only just got your foot in the door here and had some interesting posts already!!

Well I suppose I could make her an offer for less, although I doubt she/he would go for half (£8), although I guess it doesn’t hurt to ask. There’s another UK seller at the moment who has 9 of these models listed for £15.99 as well.
Without looking up prices and before Pyro’s reply I had offered $12.50USD per fig. Currently £6 = $10US and £8 = $13.30US but I think he wanted a lot more than that so maybe he just felt insulted that I offered such a low price and then was doubly insulted when Pyro offered a price in the same range as I had. Reading Pyro’s post, I honestly don’t think his comment/challenge on the ‘very rare’ status of the figs was meant to be insulting at all, just a clarification on how these figs should be regarded when thinking of a fair price on the market. Guess I’ll have to forget about the better quality pics he said he could take too… was really hoping to have them for reference.
I guess a post-analysis isn’t useful at this stage. I’m just disappointed I’ve missed out on getting these figs at any reasonable price and as his account is gone there doesn’t seem to be a way to locate his e-mail address to follow-up off-line either. Zut alors!

But yeah. 12.50 US would be bang on i reckon. I wouldn’t call them rare, they’d be similar to the Bonnie Annerson necromunda model.
Not rare, but people just think they are so they cost a lot.

I got about 8 of them in a unit of 20 CD for about $45 US. I would not pay more then a few $$ each for them they are cool looking, but not all that much better than the regular upright axe version. There is usually a few floating around ebay for a good price it is just a matter of waiting.

alrighty i know these minis very well used to be able to get them from us mailorder not rare just sold in the us the molds for these were for warhammer quest there is another version with a different hat everyone says is a recast well if it is ive brought more than one from us mailorder before tell no lies these minis arnt rare at all just keep a eye on us ebay you will find them hell everyone thinks everything is rare its not they made heaps even the limited edition minis arnt that rare brother keep your eye on ebay(us) i will even go see my brother and see if i can get you one of each(3) we brought heaps of these all through the 1990s email me in a week cheers
