Discoking:
Hey Guys,
I just found this at Mantic Games…
gIL^:
haha looks like a bong
Looks like a heavy Mortar all right.
zobo1942:
Dude, that’s like the most totally rad pipe ever!! Errr… I mean, evil war machine!!
EDIT: Although, that idea of the nut with the… roofing nails? Upholstery tacks?.. glued onto the sides is pretty interesting…
tjub:
Not my cup of tea…
Skink:
The Cannon itself looks kind of weird. It made me think at Bob Marley somehow cough
But surely the guy who made it put some good ideas in the model. Inspirating.
Hazkar:
haha, looks like some kind of evil car straight from out of the old ghost busters cartoon series
Ishkur Cinderhat:
The toothpicks are too obvious, but the rest of the conversion is nice and the paintjob is quite good IMO.
G.2:
I would have expected more from Mantic. It is a little “childish” in my opinion. Good tutorial writeup and lots of photos.
LumpinCroop:
It’s certainly creative in that it looks like it can be done on the cheap.

I would have expected more from Mantic. It is a little "childish" in my opinion. You did? Then you probably don't know their elven dragon riders :P

Time of Madness:
Mantic continues to disappoint me. With the release of Tamarukhan you’d think they would be producing more Abysaal Dwarfs, instead of scratch built war machines.

JMR:
Errr… for the record, this isn’t a tutorial made by Mantic or anything. It’s simply a fan-made war-machine that got a mention on their blog.
Here’s the blog post for completeness’ sake.
I don’t like the conversion, although making use of skull-rings and whatnot seems like a clever idea that might be used in a …more refined conversion. One without plastic forks ;p
Admiral:
JMR is right. There are some clever ideas for scratchbuilding raw materials in that cannon, although the construction can be vastly refined. Thumbs up for we who made it!
Thorne:
I like it. Shows what can be done with household items but isn’t that what we do already. Nice work !
