Actually, a friend of mine faced a lammasu with the mace on a tourney a year ago or so. He still haven´t been able to pick up his jaw after the CD-player just asked him to remove his black knight unit.

But a big scary monster should at least be able to kill off a war machine crew. I agree the Lammasu is intended to move the Sorcerer into position to move use spells more effectively. But I still would like the Monster able to kill if they do get into combat.

i tend to think of a Lammasu as a really exotic flying carpet, filled with love. It looks cool, Its expensive as fuck! but sometimes you just need to sing, A WHOLE NEW WORLD!

Sherlocko, ive been advocating the dark mace on a lammasu sorcerer since I started the army. I’m glad someone else has seen it in action!

Am I the only one so afraid to loose 500 pt + 100 general and four level of magic during a single shooting phase?
Many times I lost HeroLord on great taurus, even with armour of fornace and tuarus’ scale skin, in a single shooting phase.
Lamassu and sorcerer lord haven’t got any kind of protections: even 20 missiles could kill them (not only WE have got 20 shooters)
I don’t want to think against gobbos, hobbos and dark/high elvish BTs
or dwarf/empire’s war machine.
And what about skinks with poisoned flutes??
