My only army is CD’s so I wish I could afford 50 but postage and conversion costs are a worring unknown… but I keep getting this nagging feeling I will want more as my army grows
I’m going to think on it more and I might up-date my order coz I’m thinking that three different colours would be nice one for normal, one for dispell, and one for spell dice. i’ll have to look it up now rolls eyes (too many ideas not enough thinking though in my head, I just wanted to get an order in as it looked like it had just about been finalised when I wasn’t online.) (thinking about it 45 is a good number (27 + 9 each for the other types)) I still wish we could have got custom artillery dice going I loves my earth shakers etc. Lol have you noticed how all my posts seem to be thinking out loud

I sent an e-mail off (although it was rather late in the week) and haven’t heard anything back yet. Unfortunately I will be away on business for the next two weeks with limited internet access.
I have asked Ronshank to touch base again via e-mail as she has already had previous contact with Chessex.
Hoping to be able to finalize prices by next weekend at the latest. We have nearly 600 dice ordered and should be able to go ahead with this project.

As you can see the second options lead to an interesting dilemma and it seems to be between Pyro and Nicodemus as to which way we go. I’ve sent a pm to Nicodemus in the hopes of getting a second option, and i’ve also sent a pm to Pryo asking for his imput. Maybe everyone on this list could get their second option to be fair, but then maelzch should then get his choice as it would then be ordered, and that still leaves Nicodemus getting his option even though he has only ordered 10 in a colour that is not confirmed. Another way to look at it is the most dice ordered gets their colour choice but Nicodemus has not given a second option…hopefully this can be sorted soon. I have asked to explain if there is a specific reason for the colour choices in case they are to reflect the army colours which could influence a decision. Either way it kind of looks like we might have to wait for Nic to put his two cents in.
…Oh and Time of Madness sometimes Chessex might take a few days but you will get that reply e-mail.

I'm not bothered in the least to switch my colours up... although looking at Pyro's colour choice of Scarab Blue Blood I want that one now instead too ;)

fingers crossed that Chessex accepts the colours. I’ve just checked this with an eairlier e-mail from the company and Velvet Black and Smoke Red Translucent could be an issue but i’ll wait for confirmation from Chessex before I worry too much as there are many orders for the Velvet black and the order itself is so large they might let us get away with it. We will see.
I have sent the e-mail to Chessex, so now all we have to do is wait for the reply.

My fingers are crossed for Velvet Black as it’s such a large order. I should have been playing closer attention to what colours we were chosing from. I assumed that the list I posted from Chessex of colour options was being used. A very silly mistake on my part. I hope it all works out. If not i’ll do my best to fix it before Time of Madness gets back. There’s still a chance that Chessex will say that it’s all fine but i’m erring on the side of caution just in case. If it doesn’t work out I will of course repost that list here

Just in case you guys are wondering what I sent Chessex yesturday here it is:
To Joseph Kogin of Chessex Manufactoring, Re the CDO website Order
Hello Ronshank (I put my name in here) from Chaos Dwarfs Online again. I believe that Time of Madness has been e-mailing you about the CDO order. This is because he actually had the idea.
Just to re-cap the members of the Chaos Dwarf On-line (CDO) website are interested in making some custom dice with the 6 pips removed in order to put our ‘symbol of hashut’ design on it.
Time of Madness has unfortunately believed that all of the Chessex colours were available and has told the board that all the colours were available instead of pointing them to my post of your accepted colours e-mail. I should have been checking better but it has been done now and he is currently on a business trip so i’ll be looking after the order again for the next week or so in his stead.
Unfortunately this means that we have come up with a few colours that were not advised. Our numbers are pretty large for one of them so I’m hoping that some kind of compromise can be reached.
The colours that were decided on the boards are:
*Velvet Black…254 dice
Scarab Scarlet…190 dice
Orange Vortex…63 dice
Basic Black and Red pips…40 dice
*Smoke Red Translucent…50 dice
Which means all up we will be ordering 597 dice so far…
the * indicates a choice that wasn’t on the list you sent me.
As for the 'symbol of Hashut 'design. You should find a picture attached of the mock up picture we at the site made of the design we wish to use. We did it on a blank white dice for the ease of seeing the design (we used it and some others in a poll).
Sorry for the mix up about the availible colours. Hopefully something can be done.

Yes I’m still updating the orders list (on my comp). So far it’s not an issue but please bear in mind the possible colour issues. I check this everyday but I’m still waiting for the e-mail. Chessex should be back to us withing the week. (I didn’t want to clog up the thread more than I have already when I didn’t have much more to add)
