Due to certain fascinations of mine…(Steampunk) I suddenly have an urge to build airships for both my Chaos Dwarfs and my Ankor Dwarfs. So how would you believe a chaos dwarf would build an Airship. Personally, I would think it would be something akin to the the artwork by Rodney Matthews, except with Taurus, Wyrmlings, or some other bizarre ensnared beast. But, I would love your input on this…
I think if it were to be drawn by a beast, it would be by the beast’s/those beasts’ power alone (maybe with a steam vent beneath it to keep it level). Maybe wyrmlings or dark pegasi or captured Brettonian/Hippogriffs things like that, but I doubt they’d use Great Tauri or Lammasu.
Personally, which is odd as I’m not in this “camp”, I think they’d probably go for a more daemonically powered design. The shape of that “basket”, maybe with propellors beneath or to the sides for hovering/travel.
Intriguing, that would certainly allow one to see their skills with technology and daemonology, but alas, it would not show their penchant for slavery nor their cruelty, though, if one could somehow show the suffering of the souls empowering the device…it would be rather horrific…
Have a slave feeding slaves into a furnace/mouth? Or have a slave being forced to perform labour to push the cycle of daemonic energy over to the engines and/or as a prelimnary starter for the daemon-bound thing to add to after take-off?
Great Idea. Maybe you could make it all mechanical rather than being pulled by a creature to represent the engineering prowess of the Dawi’Zharr!
wow great picture i like it !!! now that would be cool to project
Alright, since it is popular demand if I manage to accomplish this to the level I wish it to be, I will make it mostly machine driven with no creatures pulling it.
I can’t wait to see this, please keep us posted with as many pics as you can :hat off
