[Archive] Chaos Dwarf Female Garb

Willmark:

Definately no beards

The Titan wargames mini is just about perfect for a depiction IMO.

Agree... Btw, don't know if you have read Rat Queens(great comic), but theres a female dwarf character who constantly shave which is very undwarfy. So a CD female could very well shave as well to show distain for dwarves culture.

Ghrask Dragh:

Just from those 2 cells like looks like a comic book to check out

I agree, tusks but no beards and a pair of big… huge… guns… Yep, a blunderbuss in each hand of course

Enjoysrandom:

Awe come on the beard isn’t that much of a turn off…

Rozmax did a wonderful job!

He did a wonderful job with the whole range really and they sell at a good price!

I’ve lost track of why the traditional chainmail bikini has lost favour with the political correct

That's why ;)

Admiral:

Yep, Rozmax did a great job. I’ve never been a fan of bearded Dwarf women, so much so that it likely aided me in misreading Tolkien so I thought he meant that Dwarf women travelled overground with fake bears. But that is a genuine feminine bearded stunty lady!

Turkish sultana hat variant, though not as tall or as opulent as the one in the costume drawing:

Certainly please possible.

It's never set well with me in (some) fantasy that female Dwarfs have beards. If some want their Dwarfs to have them, then so be it.

As I noted Baggronor's depictions are spot on, something cold and caculatung in her look. Menacing is another word that comes to mind.

Admiral:

Grulka really is spot on, at least in the head area and the face is 9/10 of a model as we all know. A face on par with this is something for us other sculptors to aspire to capture in miniature:

It's the lack of realism. It's heavy but offers no protection at all. If they are going to be almost naked then a bit of cloth is better.

Solid plate bikini or boob-plate is even worse, a mere grazing strike is pressed directly into a single point of the sternum, probably breaking it - much more damaging than the flesh wound you would have received from a sword, but even a plain shove would do the same.

Admiral:

They could possibly look something like this.

You just had to bring logic into it.
