The soundtrack of “Planet of the Apes” by Danny Elfman is very driving and kind of barbaric and consists mainly of wooden drums. Sometimes I switch to this when playing.

Ha, similar recommendation. The 1989 Batman score also by Danny Elfman. Very dark and foreboding, yet whimsical in places. Goes well with the dark absurdity of the Chaos Dwarfs. Also great background for reading fantasy novels while listening to it.
