[Archive] Chaos Dwarfs allied in the new book of armies of Kingdoms Ogres?

From Warseer I have just read between the rumors of Kingdoms Ogres in that Harry comments on this:

"Expect more help from the mountains too. (Something new?)"

I imagine that I might be Chaos Dwarfs unit… it seems to be very possible, if GW introduced by force and with shoe-horn the Hellcannon in the book of armies of Warriors of Chaos why not to put CD’s with Ogres?

Chaos Dwarfs don’t live in the mountains. And if Warriors of Chaos didn’t have anything (except the Hellcannon), I wouldn’t expect to see it in the Ogre Kingdoms book either. What you will probably see is loads of new references, some magic items made by the Chaos Dwarfs and a general feel of them being part of the fabric of the Warhammer world.

No, On the Giants and the Yhettes they are in another paragraph of rumors, or it is CD's possible new unit or on what comments Thommy H, more references and magic objects.

I don’t really see the CD being part of the Ogres army at all really. If I were an OK player I’d be disappointed if they were in there, I’d be hoping for a big beast, or really big sabretusks as a unit etc.

Artillery would be unbalanced, and anything else would be stuck at M3 with CD.

Harry was just collating to disprove him. He never confirmed anything. Just the opposite, in fact.

Rhinox Cavalry would be "help from the mountains".

Regardless it is clearly referring to the Mountains of Mourn and the different creatures that live there. They make a big deal about it in the armybook with different "layers" of pre-historic creatures. Sort of. In that context it makes perfect sense.

Sorry but it won't be Chaos Dwarfs. It just won't.

there have always been conceptual things about chaos dwarfs floating around. Doesn't mean there is an army coming out.

I wouldn’t want chaos dwarfs in an OK army TBH. It doesn’t even make since. Fluffwise ogres and chaos dwarfs are trading partners and allies in very very grave times. I would rather have Chaos Dwarfs in there own book…which for me is the only way to go. I don’t want a bunch of short guys with beards in an army with fat guys with man boobes. It’s not the same. :cheers

Well... there will be necessary to expect to see what goes out of the Chaos Dwarfs in the new book of army of Kingdoms Ogres. ;)

While, on the March 28, in the ForgeWorld Open Day there would be probably a possibility of seeing somothing of the CD's.

What we are going to do to him...

If Ogres get Chaos Dwarfs as allies, that well… I’d have no opinion on that really.

But if they get Chaos Dwarfs INSTEAD of Hobgoblin Khanite as allies with no possibility of Hobgoblins on the horizon, I’ll be very sad. :frowning:
