so santa will be a bit late this year in the mean time im going to have a go at something different till i get hold of my throne of chaos book
i have a good amount of regular dwarfs there a good sub for a lack of chaos dwarfs figs
so going over my model collection and doing a bit of thinking
mage lord with my stone unit filler = anvil
lammasu = in to lammocopter
blunderbusses = thunderers/ crossbows
warriors = dwarf warriors
cannons = cannons
volley gun = organ gun
hogboblin bt =dwarf bt
im hopeing to make it to a tournie in the new year that is known as fluffycon(2000 points) there are restrictions of no lords 700 points min core so im going to work out what to take/comvert to dwarfs
Some of those ideas seem rather difficult to pull off, mainly the lammasu into a gyrocoptor?
And volley gun/cannon don’t seem to make much sense to me as well (are these the empire models?)
The other problem you may run into at a tourny is the lack of what you see is what you get. Most tournies I have been apart of generally want the majority of the armies to be wysiwyg.

Loads of people do this though. Our own Baggronor has competed in many tournaments with this army in the Gallery section of the main site which counts-as Dwarfs. Lammasu or Taurus as Gyrocopter is also a time-honoured solution - obviously the Gyrocopter's steam attack thing represents a Taurus's breath weapon, for example.
If you can find a tournament running Storm of Magic scenarios, of course, you can use a Lammasu or a Taurus for real.
im not playing at gw tournie so i should be ok having a blunderbuess being a thunderer
I`ve had best army awards at GW events with my CDs-as-Dwarfs, GW are fine with it as long as its obvious what is what (so CD warriors with great weapons must be Dwarf warriors with great weapons, a fighty CD lord must be a fighty Dwarf lord, etc). The war machines can get slightly confusing but as long as you explain to your opponent first, it should be no problem (I use a Hellcannon as my Grudge Thrower for example).
