[Archive] Chaos Dwarfs by Norna Miniatures

Firehammer:

Hi,

a small Spanish Company tries to fill the gaps in the Warhammer / 9th Age miniature range, including some Bretons, gyrocopters and … a unit of Chaos Dwarfs:

Prices: Regiment of 10 is 12,; 10 including command 18,; general 5,

Slavemaster Hod:

Not bad. I don’t totally like how they are all hiding behind their shields. But there is some potential there.

Malorndk:

Not horrible, but rather boring designs in my opinion. Not a lot of appeal to me.

Admiral:

Thanks for sharing. Been brought up before, but these things recedes by time.

I just wish more time and care had been paid to sculpting details, particularly to the shields and helmets. The concept is good, but it looks rushed. I’ll still pick up that detailed warlord sometime down the road.

Fingers crossed for a remastered version in the future.

Zanko:

Nice (because of the price!) but much too ordinary! :frowning:

Have a look at Clam’s Eval Dwergars or Baggranor’s Titan Wargames models! These miniatures are awesome! :hat off

cornixt:

A bit of a shame that the two most prominent features - the shields and helmets - are the worst parts, the shield edging especially looks amateurish. Other than that they look pretty good and rank up nicely. A better set of shields would make a HUGE difference.

Timothy Archer:

still ugly

Thommy H:

Really valiant effort from whoever painted these but…no…not good.

Skink:

Ugh. Noooope.

Carcearion:

Hmmm… yeah this is my first time seeing them and I have to say not impressed with the range. The lord has some potential though, are they guys plastic? I could a decent conversion with him.

Admiral:

I’d consider a bunch as a beardling regiment (earn your high hat!) if all the minis were brought up to the level of the lord. Including amount of ornamental details. I like to convert and add details to miniatures per routine, but the base models are just not up to par even for that as they stand now.

Sent them an E-mail with advice.

Grimbold Blackhammer:

The sculptor is on to the right theme but to me, he isn’t quite there. If these were his beta test dwarfs, I’d be very interested in the next version. Love the beardling idea though!!

Willmark:

Im going to go against the grain and say it: I like them.

I actually like the poses. The only thing I would change is the shields as they dont look very chaos dwarf like.
