No, I always use primer. The only reason it’s like that is because when I first bought BFSP I primed some of the Dwarfs as Dwarfs… then when I decided to convert them into Chaos Dwarfs, I didn’t feel like stripping the primer before converting… and I wouldn’t wanna prime it twice, since that might make it too thick.
@ Zanko: I was definitely going for a mini chaos warrior look. I figured if the rules say they are wearing Chaos Armour, and Chaos Dwarfs are the craftsmen of all Chaos Armour worn by the mortal warriors… then I should model my elites like that too!

Don’t panic - I hadn’t looked at your thread since you did your immortals.
The immortal piece you’ve done there is very well converted. And the different armour and helmet will definitely allow people to see the difference between them and the warriors at a glance. Zanko’s right, they will look very good next the 3rd ed. minis

In the meantime. Here is my newest conversion, my 1st Bull Centaur w/ Great Weapon… (He just needs a tail under that butt plate)
He’s made from a generic GW mideval horse (fattened/shortened/bulked/new hooves), a BFSP Dwarf Miner, Goblin standard-top for helmet, Marauder arms, Dwarf Miner weapon, Lizardman shoulderpads, and a butt plate from the new Chaos Knight steeds.

Wow, And that to is a very cool Bullcentour, great amount of different bits go in it. I think BS’s bring out the best in a CD palyer, i’ve seen so many cool Ideas and conversions.

Great conversion as usual. Very smooth green stuff… and nice helmet for this guy! He shall be very proud of it 
The only complain (this morning I woke up over critic 
) is the missing link between the butt-plate ( Lol) and the front armor. I think chains or leather strings could help to link the two parts of the armor and complete the model.

Really good GS work there. My only criticism relates to the helmet - the skull makes it look like the head is too small for the body. Is there a way for you to make the head bigger, or to replace the skull head with one of your necron head specials?

I have two points to “criticize” … like always said I would make a continuous armor (from front to butt) and for my liking is the upper body a bit too short!
Imo the proportion is not “right”! I cannot explain better in english!
