Now I think it is time to share my army in progress.
Since here in Hungary only a few people have and even less play with the dawi zharr I have seen the original minis only on internet sites. So I have to build and convert my new army.
I have around 1500 points.
I mainly use a lot of green stuff when making my models. But sometimes I use other materials like my vitamin holder or a ping-pong ball. Because I don’t have any hobgoblin models I use gnoblars with a little modification. I will post here my works. On the 15th of August I will have a local tournament so I have to make a taurus for that. And a lot of more warriors.
The tournament is getting closer and I need about 15 more warriors, so I decided to convert a few bits. 3 heads are already finished with 3 torsos. I will make the hats separately, so I can build a few variations. I will cast these, because that’s the only way I can end up with an army. M
My lord is halfway to be finished, I think he became very cute, especially the hat and the beard. I tried out a new technique, and istead of rolls of gs I carve lines and make the beard from them.
picture 1: the heads, and two shields on the left shield is a demon head and on the right is a skull, with flames around it, and the would be lord

picture 4: the earthshaker cannon with heads on the sides and in the front. It’s with a spike holder for a crew. - the ping-pong ball is here

picture 5: the great taurus, inpired by Ishkur. I’ll paint it black with the fiery crack on it, I still have to do the wings, which I plan to be balck with fire looking veins on it. And a flame will come from his mouth.
Great GS work every thing that is one huge hat that your lord has, as i all ways say "no hat can be to big " and this proves it, really like the standard that you have done look forward to seeing it painted
Finally the taurus is nearly ready. After spending a lots of hours making the wings, I ended up with two finshed wing, the biggest and only problem was, that I made two right wings, so I decided for round two and started to make a new one.
And it’s ready. All I have to do is to fix it to the taurus. Then I can start painting it.I cheated a little because it was my first work with milliput and made a little bit stronger wings.
But thanks for the comments. Hope you like the next ones as well.
Here is the picture of this stage. I put the lord on it. He will have a cloak and of course arms.

And I started to paint my hellcannon style earthsaker. It’s really huge, but I built it after a cartoon called Szaffi, where the Austrians used a big cannon, called Big Bertha.
Well, I resculpted the main body part with a little milliput to wash away the fingerprints on my taurus and it’s really ok.
But I have to sculpt two bull centaurs beacuse I have only 4 models. And it looks promising, although at this stage it looks more like a deer.
I think milliput is very cool. I had some much probems with the fingerprints on large parts on a model with gs.But now I can wash these with a brush, so I’m very happy. Keep fingers crossed. Just two more days. I have to admit that I don’t expect winning, maybe just a few matches.
I have had the tournament 8th place out of 14. During the last game /3 matches/ we fought not to become the last. So I ended up 6 place forward. Yeah. I gathered a lot of slaves for the mines. I did some extra figures, because I needed a Romeo and Juliet for a mission.
Like your paint scheme and your conversion work! :cheers
Apropos the “Dicke Bertha” was a German cannon in the 1st World War, but the most effective cannon/mortar at that time was the Austrian/Czech “Skoda 305-mm-Haubitze Modell 1911” …
Well finally all the tournaments ended, so I have time for my CD army. I’m planning to do a sorcerer kneeling next to a lava flow. But I have to finish the bull centaurs as well.
Like your paint scheme and your conversion work! :cheers
