Can someone explain the so called salary cap next year?No, there won't be a salary cap. What UEFA have done is bring in new rules for next season, which say that clubs must make a profit or at least break even, or they won't qualify for European competitions. The idea being that this will force clubs to spend more sensibly (possibly limiting what they will pay in wages, like Arsenal seem to do) and also it should stop big spenders like Abramovich and Sheik Mansour bankrolling player purchases.
Whether or not it will actually work in practice or encourage the big clubs to go about setting up their own super-league reamians to be seen. There is a news story here which gives more details
