Stellar work for that contest, chaps! Hard to choose favourites.

Scanner has broken down so this is photographed with the phone camera. Shaky, not quite straight (it is in the actual drawing thanks to ruler) and still with a hint of brown warmth which has nothing to do with reality, but here is the next illustration for the Stormforged Axe, for the murder of one of the most powerful men in Zharr-Naggrund:

Forgefire:

Sweet job Admiral! Nice to have it in one place. Much inspiration! However i cringed seeing my old stuff  haha

Admiral:

Thank you both! Don’t fear your old work, Forgefire. It’s good!

Drawn for this fable, based upon Leonardo da Vinci’s flayed man anatomical drawing (blurred phone picture, need to scan eventually…):

AtomTaylor:

Awesome Artwork chaps. Impressive work.

Night Shift Doodle

Chaos Dwarf Big Hat Small by Andrew Taylor, on Flickr

Enjoysrandom:

AtomTaylor that Overlord looks epic! Very nice man!

Admiral:

Yep, great Overlord doodle! Sticks in the memory. Nice composition, details and shading.

AtomTaylor:

Thanks guys, it was from a miniature photo. Probably one of the site members. Hope to get another completed tonight.

Admiral & Forgefire, you work is amazing. Love the detailing. Must have taken ages.

AtomTaylor:

Another night work piece, a trifle more adventurous this time. This took two nights work.

Hobgoblin in the style of Russ Nicholson

Hobgoblin by Andrew Taylor, on Flickr

Admiral:

Monstrous! Nice inking and very good job on the Hobgoblin. Evocative surroundings. A great way to spend some downtime during the shift!

Just came across this, by Mikhail Savier

…and another, by Johann Valentin Andree (rotorblade)

Abecedar:

I love looking through here.

Admiral:

Good finds tjub, added to the first post.

Also, a couple of Hellcannons since humans are incapable of producing artillery pieces:

Dînadan:

Just rememembered these I did years ago; not Chaos Dwarfs, but they are evil Dwarves so worth sharing I think.

[attachment=5434][attachment=5435]

They were…true haters of Morgoth and his servants; and at first had regarded the Dwarves askance, fearing that they were under the Shadow…*

*For they had met some far to the East who were of evil mind…Alas, it seems probable that (as Men did later) the Dwarves of the far eastern mansions…came under the Shadow of Morgoth and turned to evil.

Neat, Dînadan! Made me think of Artigas’ take on Blacklocks in Tolkien’s Middle Earth:

Also, drew some columns:
