As the title says I’m loking for a good conversion guide to make a new whip for my Bloodthirster. I recently got the better part of a 'thirster as part of a job lot of bits, but it’s missing the weapon arms. At the moment I’m thinking Daemon Prince axe for the one arm and then converting the whip. Ideally I’d use the Balrog whip but there doesn’t seem to be a bits site or ebay seller that stocks it.
Any guides, tutorials or good examples of scratch built or converted whips people know of would be very much appreciated!

I have scratch-built whips out of several pieces of wire wound around each other. As long as you put tips on each piece it doesn’t look like some spare coax.

Not sure about the size of the bits here, but hoardobits has great dark eldar whips and such

wbits05 is another eBay seller that has dark eldar whips, etc.
As far as conversion guides, I know of none. I hope that the bits stores on eBay have what you are looking for.

That one is for a standard dark eldar. Which is about 1/3 the size of a Bloodthirster.
