Presto! My first CD’s. They look horrible, they’re converted from already converted dwarves, with some of their paint scheme intact, but I’ll paint them up soon

Kera foehunter:
what a great start !! like the use of pins to make tallhats
the beards don’t look bad for the first time!!
so are you going to have any designs on the cd shields??
Thorgar:
They look cool, are you going to give them tusks/lips?
Cryonicleech:
Afraid not, Thorgar. I’m not that good.
And yes Kera, they will have designs.
Thanks to you both, BTW
Pyro Stick:
I think you should clip those spikes off. They are too thin and they would make handling them a very painful experience. If you want spiked hats then clip them half down and green stuff a thicker spike over it.
Borador:
Looking good, though the spikes are a little on the big side in my opinion.
theblackmage:
I quite like them, I don;'y see why you called them horrible though.
one beer for good work:cheers
(disclaimer: beer is a smiley, and not drinkable in any way. please do not attempt to drink the beer, or sue the person who gifted it to you for any damages to your keyboard/monitor or internal organs)
Zanko:
In my opinion cool guys, the only point of criticism is/are the BIG noses …
They could be a bit smaller…
Beside this everything is cool!
:hashut
Astranagant:
Instead of clipping the pins off, I’d advise you to pull them out with pliers. The steel pin royally borked up my sprue nippers; they’ll never be the same…
Tarrakk Blackhand:
Pin hats are nice. I turned mine upside down from yours and drilled a hole in their heads so the pin is inside the Dwarf as shown below.
Before pulling the pin out, first try it on a spare pin that isn’t attached to the dwarf as the pin may break as you pull the pin out.
If it does, you should be able to use a good hobby saw, made by Atlas, to saw through the metal.
Kera foehunter:
look good mr t is there a reason on yellow push pins??
there not yellow are they * kera spit in spit toon * as she does a western cowboy voice
wallacer:
Those pin hats do the job surprisingly well.
Swissdictator:
Cryonicleach: Maybe giving your CD the evil villain moustache will help. Doesn’t need to be thick, but a nice little one could really help sell the look.
Whenever people do pin hats I recommend some sort of decoration on it (be it via paint or conversion work) to make it look like less of a pin. You could always clip the needle part and stick a skull or head on there too
