[Archive] Daemon-smiths figures suitable for 3rd Ed CD's

Chico:

Right-o i need a 2nd Daemon-smith suitable for a 3rd Ed Chaos Dwarf based force.

So far im using:

Which for those who don’t know is a C02 Wizard - Necromancer.

Now any ideas what i can use as a 2nd one? GW prefered but can be other ranges.

Cheers

Chico

Bolg:

There are a few dwarf wizzards/ancestors. (I have 2, I use them as Rune Smiths) and there are a few Squat ancestors that work very well. if you find them on ebay, be ready to bleed heavily for them.

Oh and there is this guy a Chaos dwarf sorcerer that is easily converted to a very suitable deamonsmith:

Its made by a Dutch guy.

Grimbold Blackhammer:

Um…are you planning on converting him in some way? Unless I am missing the mark, I don’t think that’s even a dwarf. He’s definitely not wearing armour. It’s not a bad mini being from the 80’s but I think that’s a human wizard with a beard holding a scroll and a mushroom.

Threadbare:

Baggronor has a few that work well at Titan Wargames

Not always easy to find but I like to use MM901A and Kludge.

Zanko:

I can recommend the Twisted Tales Miniatures! :cheers

I was thinking the same thing when i read the original post for this thread....
I too suggest the two models Threadbare posted here. I am fortunate I picked up a MM901A on ebay a few weeks ago

Yeah i was thinking of maybe using another Dwarf Wizard, they fit my theme of renegades and exiles quite well.

No mate its a Dwarf Necromancer/Wizard (Got the figure in my hand as i type this), as for no armour that doesn't matter to me its more about getting a nice looking army.

I like the MM901A but i'd have to sell my left nut to be able to get one heh.

I can recommend the Twisted Tales Miniatures! :cheers

Its from a independent sculptor that did a few models, I bought the model at my local game store, they probably know how to get in to contact with him. I can ask for is mail/info if you are interested.

His name is Tebbo van Dijk I dont have a email, but apparently he makes a very cool looking webcomic about space dwarfs:
http://www.beardybastards.com/comics/2011/10/10/dwarf-stars/
And the webcomic has a FB page:
Facebook

So that should be enough for now I think.

Abecedar:

definitely Bagronor’s Titan figures, but another great 3rd Ed’ style is Dave Kings “Bederken” range.
