I've been doing some thinking on the 'death rocket' from the RH lists and it seems very erratic.
Or possibly I'm reading it wrong.
the 4d6 off direction is for the misfire?
What are your primary targets with the death-rocket? Do you barrage them with the "earth shaker" first then whollop on them with the D.R.?
Thanks for any advice/feedback.

I have moved over to using the new FW death rocket rules. However in a RH list it is best to use the rocket to target either:
1. large blocks of low T troops to ensure a higher number of killed models.
2. Large single models like chariots or monsters so you can use the under the hole S and multiple wound to try to kill something mean. Ideally this is reasonably close to another unit in case of a scatter.
Running the RH list always best to use the earth shakers to first prevent shooting back at you/marching charging, the S is too low to really kill a lot.
Then use the Rocket Launchers to pick off those large single model/weak troops.
Then use the bolt throwers to target larger multi wound models or do more wounds to units to push them to the 25% losses panic line ideally beyond the range of the genera/bsb.
