Devils Run: Hells Highway
Word Forge Games just launched a kickstarter for a stand alone expansion of their amazing game Devils Run. It was funded in an hour.

This kickstarter is to get a new base game box, based on the knowledge and feedback from the first.
WFG has run one of the best campaigns I’ve been on board, with weekly updates, honesty and a huge amount of backer inclussion in the entire project.
Devils Run has a living (free) rulebook and a living (free) mission book. Both downloadable from: Word Forge Games homepage.
The kickstarter price for this nice game is 40 gbp. That’s a cheap buy in to a new system and an excuse to mod, paint and play with all your old matchbox and hot wheel cars!

A “Back to the Future” DeLorean, a cool vintage VW Bug, a James Bond “You Only Live Twice” Little Nellie gyrocopter and my favorite: “Brit Attack” with classic Mod scooters! Oh, how I miss my Lambretta GT200 :(

I’ve really been enjoying this game. And they do bring in some cool references to other movies, series etc.
In the first kickstarter you could get (some can still be bought from the Wordforge site) Tank Girl, Knight Rider and Mad Max.
For this one they are doing a KS exclusive A-team, for anyone who was into that show.

I actually thought I had enough little toy cars. I only wanted to have me a hardback advanced rulebook, that hopefully gets made as a stretch goal. … But I’ll have to get myself a Vykers faction starter (vikings on ATVs)! And I’ve seen concept art of a giant War Rigged fire engine truck!

Time to bump this thread.
The campaign has just passed 35k£ pledged - this is a major deal for me. This unlocks the production of a large advanced rules hardback book. Containing rules, scenarios, solo play rules and fluff.
I’ve read the rules and missions, playtest and help read for corrections. It’s gonna be a great rulebook for crazy vehicle combat! Also the base game has a lot of freebies added already, with even more to come.
For the price of 40£ this is a great value boardgame, with lots of replayability. With all the extra cards, there’s even cards for whatever crazy vehicles you might convert yourself.
Lots of cool add-on factions unlocked as well. A double decker warrig bus amongst other crazy stuff.
If you pledge 40+ before 24th september, you even get another biker miniature.

Just over 28 hours left on the campaign for this excellent little game. A cheap buy in to a great system. Lots of freebies unlocked, both extra miniatures and lots of cards allowing for you to convert old toy cars as well.
