i understand your post wolf - the problem happens when the tournament scene in your case in controlled by someone who doesnt like change. probably a brettonian player.

Yeah, I’m fairly certain Chaos Dwarfs will be staying banned from most of the Tournaments.
But hey, I�?Tll just have to take my Doc/WoC Nurgle Army, which now has all 3 Maggoths, 5 Blightkings and Spume, also in the next couple of weeks a new lord Glotkin.
However, I would still much more prefer to take Chaos Dwarfs to Tournaments, just cause I love the fluff and the army.

Wolf you should move to the states, I am pretty sure LoA are allowed everywhere. Additionally I usually get bombarded with complaints on Cdwarfs being over powered usually centered around:
1: Your blunderbusses get how many shots? and you get to reroll to wound?
2: K’daii is broken, Chaos Dwarfs are op and cant be a legitimate army
3: So your hobgoblins gets BOWS AND THROWING KNIVES WTF
4: Ashstorm, lol
5: Flames of Azgorh does what? Ok so thats not broken…
Basically everything Cdwarfs do is considered broken, op, terrible but I really think it stems from peoples complete ignorance on how to deal with our army. But if i was you I would run some terrible Stubborn Tzeentch disc with a 3++ rerolling 1s, an unkillable DP, and a spam of chimeras gorebeast chariots and regular chariots, then as your opponent crys his complaints explain to him that you wanted to play chaos dwarfs lol.

any army can be cheesed so i dont get why they hate on CD but i gather its similar to FW hate of the old days in 40k (i remember a guy was freaking out when i took a towing vehicle! hahah)
