[Archive] Drazhoath the Ashen(1)

scrabb:

Has anybody bought a Drazhoath the Ashen or a Bale Taurus model from Forge World?

I wanted to know how many pieces it’s actually divided into because I was thinking of using one for a conversion…

Are the armour plates attached to the body? What about the tail and the head?

Thanks in advance! :hat off

ryanamandaanna:

The main portion is in about 4 pieces- body, head, front foot, and back foot. I can’t remember if the tail is attached or not (… I don’t think it is). Most of the armour plates are attached, but the throne, the back plate, and a few of the side plates are not. I probably should have taken pictures before I assembled it. :frowning:

vulcanologist:

Just assembled mine. Ryan’s correct about the pieces. Tail is separate by the way. Gorgeous model…feels really chunky and fits together very well!

@ Herby: would be interested in the pics, too. But no link?

Thanks for all the replies, especially for the pics!

The model seems really awsome!

Coopervisor:

Thanks for the pictures. Can you confirm that he comes with a chariot base please? (150x100)

ryanamandaanna:

He comes on a screaming bell base. 60 x 100.

Thanks for the reply! (I meant 50 x 100) I was looking for a suitable resin base for him, I'm guessing that the width difference between 50 and 60 isn't too much, so can still get him on a resin chariot base?

@ Herby:

Put those on the wiki, nice pictures! (: (if you don’t know how, just PM any of the admins.) Adding to the wiki results in a medal after adding enough

I think for the wiki pics of the individual parts would be better instead of having so much in the background. Its pretty distracting.

Borador:

Hmm that’s true.
