@ Ishkur Cinderhat - I might be off then, or thinking of carbon steel, but in my younger years I worked in a Research and Development company where they made electronic componients for industrial machines.
One day the wielder had a job wielding 3/8th inch thick Copper plates for a project. I had to help him and he had to turn the wielder up very high, the highest it could go. He also had a very hard time trying to heat the metal up enough to make a sucessful wield.
Maybe that’s where I got my info that Copper was the higher melting point.
Anyway, I’m glad you liked the paint job and the build in general!

Damn, I missed this thread. Cool. This is one of the best Earthshakers that I´ve ever seen. Like the idea of the crank.
If I may give you a suggestion why don´t you add some more decorations to it??? Dunno: flames, bull heads, chaos stars… maybe a nozzle decoration???
Tarrakk Blackhand:
I’ll see what I can do for more decorations. All I really have left are Tomb Kings parts, Goblin and Skaven parts and a few Maurader Shields. I’ll have to see if anything else is avalible.
Also, I have to see how much of the extra “Stuck on parts” will force me to remove the paint job. I don’t want to get too far with it and have to repaint the thing. The Carriage was painted with a spray bomb and now the cannon doesn’t come appart.
Zanko:
Hey dude great Earthshaker! :hat off
I like the styling and the paintjob!
The only thing to mention is that the Earthshaker seems to come “fresh” out of the factory - the model is much too clean!
Imo it would be more “realistic” and much cooler when the mini would be a bit dirty!
But despite this aspect - ace! :cheers
:hashut
Tarrakk Blackhand:
Well, considering that the machine IS new to my army, I might just forgo the “Dirty” paint scheme. Besides, it would cover all the pretty Testor’s Metallic paint!
