[Archive] female chaos dwarfs

rabotak:

just thinking, did anyone ever think about chaos dwarf women?

what would they look like (are they bearded or not:~), what would be their position in chaos dwarf society, how many of them would be there in relation to the entire cd population (if still existent at all), do they fight?

i also think it could be a fun idea for golden hat!

Thommy H:

My contribution to Chaos Dwarf feminism:

“Hailing from Gorgoth, where Lord Zhurduz is based, these Dawi?TZharr wear the more practical attire of the colony and sport fewer of the mutations and affectations that are associated with Zharr-Naggrund. They are led by Sergeant Thregha, Lord Zhurduz?Ts niece. While Chaos Dwarf women are usually forbidden to serve in the army, Thregha has the fortune to have been born so stunningly beautiful (so much so that she?Ts even attractive by human standards!) that she can do pretty much anything she wants.”

my reply is yes!!!

and even the best chaos warrior ever little old me

well untill now there was no know chaos warrior women!!!

Hashut’s Blessing:

They do exist, no Warhammer female dwarf has a beard (neither do the LotR ones for that matter). Kera (as she has shown you) has made several and the image that Pyro has shown is the Mother of CDs, Hashut’s Chosen (whom my name was inspiration) and she created the term Dawi Zharr.

Put simply, I think it’s the same level as with dwarf women. I doubt many fight and I think their mutations would be less severe than the male dwarfs (some with tusks, most with large noses and all would have darker hair, particularly in dreadlocks/twizzled/etc). Just my opinions…

Filipicusius:

@Tommy H: Hey! I know that model! Beautiful isn’t it?

Thommy H:

Yeah, one of my favourites.

zorn sabretooth:

damn you sick mind why are showing me things !!!

Kera foehunter:

Why not !!! there are alot of us hot cd females

wallacer:

Reaper Miniatures make several rather nice female Dwarf figures, which when painted right slot in pretty well to a Chaos Dwarf army.

Dear HB:

thanks for not at all mentioning my GHVI entry, which was a female CD. :frowning:

I made her hair braided like the male CD beard would be. It was fun. Kera and I are holding down the female fort I suppose.

HashutsChosen:

Of Course there are female Chaos Dwarfs!  :hat off  Guess no one remembers my Helna conversion… sigh.  Probably should upload a pic or two if they aren’t already here.

I remember, but I'm so new here, that I probably don't count much.. lol

HashutsChosen:

Meh, no worries, I’ve been out of touch for about 4 years, and, this is a new site for me too.

two_heads_talking:

well, if we go by degrees of connection, you were in HOH, I have known you for over 4 years, I belong here, so therefore, somehow, it’s all current…

well, that’s my story anyways, and I’m stickin’ to it.

Hashut's Blessing
I am not certain what you mean by this? The term Dawi'zharr is used int he 5th Edition of Warhammer in the Source Book (or is it battle book?).

In any case, yes, we have seen many Female Dawi'zharr models made my community members. :)

HashutsChosen:

Agreed, Rick Priestly came up with the term Dawi Zharr in the 5th ed book, White Dwarf presents.

Though I have often been called a mother… of CD was usually not the context. :stuck_out_tongue:

zorn sabretooth:

if the cds are anything like thei historical counterparts the treated their women & children like slaves

HashutsChosen:

Indeed. Carthaginians and Babylonians were some very vicious and brutal people. Of course what we know of them has been written by their enemies and eventually conquorers. However, it also must be said that Babylon was the center of commerce and wealth of the region in their hayday.

But the great thing about fantasy worlds is we can take what we want from history and recreate it to our own desire.

zorn sabretooth
let us all remember that not all women and children were enslaved. The wealthy were actually excluded from this. In fact the wealthy women were able to "control" their males in not so subtle ways.. To the point of their males being not so much subserviant, but not so independant either. It was not a matriarchy, but the matriarch certainly wielded here male appropriately..:hat:hat off
