Thorne :
To no end I have been googlins for fluorescent paints. Now the problem is I cant seam to find anything that I would truely clasify as a fluorescent blue or green paint that would be suitable for miniatures. Either its far too pale or it looks too dark their doesnt seam to be a middle ground. Does anyone know of a vendor of good fluorescent colours for miniatures ?
GRNDL :
I can’t answer that, but I can tell you that most glow in the dark paint can be mixed with acrylic paints like GWs and not lose its glowing qualities. My squig chariot was painted with a mix of really cheap kids playpaint and GW paints for the mushrooms:

oh wow thats really cool grndl!
vulcanologist :
That is amazingly cool! May have to (ahem!) borrow that idea if that’s ok?
GRNDL :
I have no issue with that mate, its just an idea. If you can use it, I wouldn’t want to stop you from doing so. Good luck with it.

Cool effect! This message was automatically appended because it was too short.

Hehe sweet glow in the dark effect! Awesome @ thorne
Sorry can’t help on this one but I’ll search the internet a bit this weekend for you if I’ll find anything I’ll let you know!
that guy :
oh man!I wish this thread had hit before I painted my hellcannons, I had no idea glow in the dark was even an option!
Hashut’s Blessing :
Flourescent or luminescent? As in REALLY bright or glow-in-the-dark? Vallejo do some good flourescent colours, but use the above method for glow-in-the-dark
nitroglysarine :
I’ve got a tube of glow in the dark acrylic somewhere… now I need to dig it out!
(Idea yoink!)
