[Archive] Football league predictions

The Charioteer:

Post your prediction for your fav soccer leagues here!

Its that time of year and we are back in business. I have full knowledge of EVERY league you could possibly be a fan of and can talk about football for days!(Trust me. I have an opinion on everything)

EPL

1) Man City. When in doubt go the league holders.

2) Man U. Pretty poor squad but Fergie finds a way.

3) Tottenham. AVB is better than Redknap. He just needs the rub of the green.

4) Arsenal. They always end up 4th.

5) Chelsea. Di Matteo will be jobless before Christmas. Hazard to have a poor season.

6) Everton. They spend no money ever and always challenge for Europe. This season THEY SPENT MONEY :hat off

7) Newcastle. Good defense. Good midfield great strikers. Could finish higher.

8) Liverpool. spent stupid money on midtable and unproven players last season. And then went out and did it again this season.

Relegation.

Reading. Just have next to no chance. Only Pav might save them with his goals.

Norwich. Lost your manager. Goodbye

Southampton. You can only go so far so fast.

BUNDESLIGA.

1) Bayern Munich. And why not?

2) Schalke.

3) Dortmund. No kagawa? No title.

4) Werder Bremen. Bias, sure, but they have a better squad than most and great management.

5) Bayer Leverkusen. Sold to many top players to fast like bremen did 3 years ago

6)Wolfsburg. Money money money.(money)

7. Borrussia Monchengladbach. LOTS of new faces and no Reus :o he was their glue last season.

Relegation.

Dusseldorf

Furth

Hamburg(there goes that bias again)

No, no, no. He means proper football, where you kick a ball with your feet. I think it's called saaaaccer in some countries.

Anyway, bolton are going to get promoted back to the premiership, QPR will be relegated, like what should have happened last season.

CopperPot:

West Ham to win FA cup wooooooooooooooo.

Zanko:

In the Premier League … not sure but I hope that Man City (money, money, money!!!) will not become 1st again, would like to see the Magpies to become the new champion!

In the Bundesliga I’m afraid that Bayern München will become the next champion but I hope Dortmund will make it again - I think they have a good team (despite the loss of Kagawa) with Götze, Reus, Bender, Gündogan, Kehl and and and! Schalke or Mönchengldbach will be 3rd.

AGPO:

I’d say the All Blacks for the Championship, Leinster for the Rabo and the Heineken, Toulouse for the Top 14, Tigers for the Premiership, Sharks for the Currie Cup and England for the Six Nations. Elsewhere, Wendyballers will continue to pose and fall over like little girls.

brotsorrow:

Im a huge arsenal supporter… and up to Van Persie being sold i had great hopes… As long as Man U doesn’t win any silver (other than second place) the season will be a joy.

Arsenal will be fine without RVP good bit of buisness getting 20 odd million for him he will get injured soon and be out most of the season.

Willmark:

Despite my backing of Liverpool… Until the clean up the diving and acting in Footie I’ll keep watching Football.

Can't say i share your confidence. They have cleaned up that squad rreal nice and polished and buffed it. It looks midtable now.

Agreed. He had 1 great injury free season and about 5 horrible ones. Now all of a sudden he is world class? Not happening.

Abecedar:

20 years ago when I was still playing in the 3rd grade local comp’ I used to buy an english football paper so as to know things and watched it religiously on TV. When my son was little, it was our monday night routine to watch the EPL round up before his bed-time. Now that the bastards have moved all of it to pay TV here I get to see bugger all unless I’m at work. I even missed the FA cup this year, That was only the second time in 30 odd years that that has happened.

As to picking winners, I’m just happy to see any game. Am a closet newcastle supporter though.
