I’m looking at basing my new CD army on the forge world theme and trying to stick with it, does anyone have any ideas for converting weapon swaps, specifically great weapons and blunderbuss.
Also I think it would be easy to convert my own champions and banner bearers but is there an easy way to make musicians? Please bear in mind my sculpting is quite good for an amateur and I’m willing to give things a try.

Blunderbusses you could fiddle around with the fireglaives, but they are quite thin in places so you’d need to do some careful pinning.

I agree with Grimstonefire! Those FW model converted to GW are the best I have seen yet using FW models.

Those great weapons look good. I’m guessing they are from a warhammer dwarf kit.
Will have a rummage through my bits box later but I don’t think I have any. Got the avatars of war slayers coming soon I will see what spare bits that gets.
I think I would be better converting a bit of tube rather than the fireglaive to make blunderbusses, they just look a bit too fidly.

Agreed! AndyG’s conversions are the best. The great weapons are from the expensive, shiny new Hammerer/Longbeard kit
