Do you think it would be possible for us to create a Chaos Dwarfs Only gaming club? I just had a thought, if we had an ‘official’ club like Gobstyks, or Tempus Fugitives, we might be able to organise an anual event at wrhammer world like they do. A chaos dwarf tournament! Have the applications for tickets as ‘open’ so anyone can attend, as long as they have 1500 points of painted up CDs, and 1500 points of an army of their choice (kind of like they do with good and evil for LOTR), play 3 games as CD’s and 3 games as none CDs. That should raise the profile a bit!

Quite a lot of this forum (most probably) dont live in the UK so this might be quite hard to do.

also it would draw atention to chaos dwarfs if we all apeared in warhammer world at once (we would also be very difficult to feed)

I'm not denying that, but there is no reason why there can't be branches in other countries! There are also, I am sure, CD gamers who are not on this site, that may prick their interest if we have something official advertised in WD.

If it was an orcs and goblins thing as well then it would definately be over run my O&G players so there would be no point in calling it a chaos dwarf event.

Hmm, things like events can be ironed out once the club goes live, but out of interest, who in the uk would attend a Chaos Dwarf event at warhammer world if we put one on? (and who from outside the ukwould get on a plane and travel for a weekend of gaming at WW?)
I’m looking into the possibility of having an official web based club on the GCN, and organising events that would be advertised in white dwarf and ran at warhammer world, I’ve just emailed the GCN rep to see what she thinks.
Seriously, we would have to attract a large number of people in order for them to do this, and if it was a massive failure, there wouldn’t be another opportunity i don’t think so it could be a once ‘ever’ event. Who would be in?
