Hi there all.

Over at the Gnoblar Forum, The Shanty Town, we are having a competition and would like to extend the invitation to you guys. The general idea for the competition is below as is a link to The Shanty Town. It would great to have as many enteries as possible.

Every race has special characters (Green Knight, Skarsnik, Skragg) except for the Gnoblar Horde. We have Lord King Bezer but any of you with the original gnoblar rules knows he tragically died when Greasus sat on him.

So may I proudly present the … (drumroll please)

Design a Gnoblar Special Character Competition

Specifications

You must design a character and create the model and fluff to go with him/her. This must also include the stats and any special rules/items as well as points. The best overall character will be the winner and will be officially recognised as a Gnoblar Special Character by the Shanty Town Forum and as our rules are not official anyway, I dont see a reason we cannot use the character in games.

Rules

These are not strict rules but advice for creating a winning entry.

Try to convert the model yourself - This is a special character, it shouldnt look like every other gnoblar.

Try and be original - A gnoblar version of Skrag would be nice but lets look at creating something unique.

Make the stats and rules for the character sensible - we cannot have a WS 7, S 6, T6 gnoblar running around but if your set on it then make the fluff support your decision

Have some fun - Gnoblars are funny! They are not an army you play if you want to win all the time so keep that in mind.

You may either insert the picture in the post or you may insert a hyperlink to a photobucket or other site to display your model.

Closing date 30th August 2009. All pics and fluff to be entered by this date.

Thats what i was thinking. It would be better to have two seperate competitions. One for the model and one for the rules. Unless you make the competition quite long to give people enough time to do both.

Pyro Stick
It just seemed to be the general feeling that if the competition was any longer it would get stale. Not huge amounts of fluff needed. There have already been a couple of enteries if you check it out.
