Blue in VT:
Overnight is probably best…or put it under a lamp to speed up the process.
I’m really excited about seeing everyone’s stuff…I feel out of my league on this one with so many talented sculptors…should be fun!
Cheers,
Blue

I just got mine finished last night. It’s my first full out Greenstuff sculpt, so I hope someone likes it. Now, if I can get the photo’s in on time!
Tarrakk Blackhand:
@ Thorne - sorry to hear about your loss on the kit!

@Nitro
I’ve found that GS can be worked around in about 4 hours trying not to touch it, fully dry in around 6-8. Under a lamp, in an airing cupboard, near a fire or radiator you could probably halve that.
I’ve been using Pro Create (grey stuff) for a lot of my model as it’s half the drying time of GS and I’ve been resting it on a radiator (on a thick piece of card) when it’s on, so I can add new stuff every couple of hours when it’s fairly hard already.
My entry is based and probably about 80% done for sculpting. Taller than I wanted, but I guess for this theme that’s a good thing!

Sweet ta Grim.
This message was automatically appended because it was too short.
Tarrakk Blackhand:
Not to harass you guys too much, but did you get the pics?
The reason why I ask this every time a GH happens is because my old XP computer tends to not open the main page to this forum from “My Favorites” and I usually have to enter through a “Side Door” approach, like checking my CDO inbox from my Excite account and then walking through the CDO forum from there.
Anyway, I sent the pics of my entry and a little write-up to Golden Hat. Please let me know if they made it through.
I can’t wait for this contest to end though. I want to share all my build-up pics with you guys as this is my first really big GS creation and I wish I could have shared the pics with you guys as I progressed along, however, that would have given away the “Surprise” of my entry.
ThanX again!
Tarrakk.
Ishkur Cinderhat:
Phew, everything finished in time. Pictures sent!
Now have to catch some sleep LOL :hat off
Golden Hat:
@Tarrakk
I got it, all looks ok

About 5 entries so far.
nitroglysarine:
My entry should be with out in 3…2…1
Ishkur Cinderhat:
Looks like there will be quite a few last minute entries. With all the buzz here during the past few weeks I can’t imagine we will end up with less than 20 entries.
Kered:
Entered mine yesterday.
nitroglysarine:
There might be 20! WOW!
Would that be the highest so far?
Blue in VT:
I just need to get some photos taken and I should be good to go!
:hat off

Grimstonefire:
We had 28 in GH #8 and 27 in GH #11
My guess is around 14 entries this time.
nitroglysarine:
Still i’d say 14 is pretty good for a larger model/build
Tarrakk Blackhand:
ThanX Grim for the confirmation!!
We should do this one again so we can build the other monsterous creature we didn’t get to build this time around!
Nicodemus:
… GH is not gonna happen this time. I even have two potential models built for this but they aren’t even primed, let alone being done with conversions. I haven’t had any more than a few minutes each day for the past few weeks to do any hobby stuff. My non-hobby time will hopefully have been well spent if I can secure the ~$600K in research funding I’m after
Now if I could only get a job instead of this self-employed B.S. I’d be set!

Now if I could only get a job instead of this self-employed B.S. I'd be set! That's what I thought. Then I got the job and found that between the commute and the ridiculous amount of BS that has happened recently I had nowhere near enough time... :(
Alfract:
Really Looking forward to seeing the amount of entries and what they will be like
